CREATED IN SILICON BEACH,
SBT was founded in 2015 by former recruiting leaders from Tesla Motors, at a time when the LA Tech scene was largely regarded as a much smaller (but very scrappy!) extension of Silicon Valley. After working with many different models of talent augmentation in one of the most high growth companies of our time, SBT identified a gap in the market between internal recruiters and external firms; a gap that SBT filled with its low volume, white glove approach to recruiting. Essentially combining the knowledge and engagement of an internal executive with the external focus and horsepower of a third party headhunter.
The SBT approach was a hit in the Silicon Beach ecosystem, where startups needed a more integrated relationship in order to compete for top talent with Bay Area big tech. Now with the rise of remote work and more distributed teams, companies across the country face these very same challenges. SBT has expanded to meet the needs of the new normal and partner with high growth companies nationwide. Companies are no longer competing locally, especially at the leadership level.
